This lidded pot is thrown at the wheel and the design is carved by hand. It is glazed using a tenmoku underneath a rutile blue glaze. The carving is glazed using a copper green. The inside is copper green.
The clay used is an off white stoneware, fired to cone 6 (1220) in an electric kiln.
