This vase is thrown at the wheel and the design is carved by hand.
The vase is glazed using a tenmoku glaze under a rutile blue, the carving has the same tenmoku under a copper green and a copper blue. The inside is copper green.
The clay used is an off white stoneware, fired to cone 6 (1220) in an electric kiln.
